Wellness South Tyrol

„Wellness South Tyrol“ often means “Alpine Wellness” and “thermal baths”, as this region has a very long tradition of wellness. Walking in Italy Merano was an important hot springs resort at the end of the XIX century already; its “testimonial” was Empress Sissi in person!

The concept of Alpine wellness derives from the very ancient farmers’ tradition of curing their health problems thanks to the therapeutic virtues of natural ingredients such as milk or hay. Südtirol Alpine wellness was also known by Empress Sissi, who was an enthusiastic fan of whey baths!
